ALPHA OMICRON CHAPTER

In the Spring of 2011, four dedicated and motivated young women founded the Alpha Omicron Chapter at the University of Connecticut - Storrs. These four women felt their campus was in need of an organization that would serve as a positive role model for the marginalized communities.

They wanted to create an atmosphere that provided a strong sisterhood for women of diverse backgrounds. These ideals of sisterhood and change led them to found a chapter of Sigma Lambda Upsilon/Señoritas Latinas Unidas Sorority, Incorporated on their campus. Due to their commitment and diligence, their vision became a reality and the Alpha Omicron chapter was established.
